Leonor lives between the volcanic islands of the Azores and the deep ocean.
She is a creature of great distances and depths. But her true mark is not how far she travels, but how well she listens.
She spends most of her life beneath the surface, where the light disappears and the ocean becomes a world of sounds.
When she comes up, she looks at the islands, the sky and the horizon before diving down again.
And down there, where no one sees her, Leonor dances.
For a long time she danced as if the water were made of the thinnest glass. Every turn measured, every movement perfect, afraid that a single mistake could shatter everything. Anyone who dances like that for long knows those marks no one can see. The same ones carried by anyone who has ever tried to fit in, even if their story is a different one.
Until one day she stopped dancing on tiptoe. She let the glass break and kept dancing her own way, with all her weight, without hiding. And she understood that making a mistake is not the same as falling.
